One of the worst feelings that we felt was that of helplessness - not being able to do anything, despite trying everything. As the shelves at the chemist started to wipe out and the hospital beds were all occupied, we were all left with the punishing feeling of helplessness.





  • Create a list of things that fall under your Circle of Control

One way to take the edge off from this feeling of helplessness is to build a mental list of things that you can control and things you can’t. Focus only on the things that are under your command. In reference to the things we can’t control, we need to remind ourselves that we did the best that we possibly could. The harsh reality is that sometimes, no matter how much we try, there are certain things that are just out of our control.


  • Pray

In times of helplessness, the best thing that you can do for your loved ones

is to whole-heartedly pray for them. Praying is the purest form of expressing

your love for someone.
